Who is responsible for your data

What information we collect

The information you give us and some technical data about your visit:

• Identification and contact details: full name, email, country and city of residence, phone number with country code, language, and, if you provide it, the type and number of an identity document.
• Information about your case: type of problem, platform or person involved, approximate amount lost and its currency, dates, payment methods, reports filed, and the account you write.
• How you reached our site: the page you landed on, the referring site or ad, and campaign parameters (for example, utm_source or the Meta or Google click identifier).
• The conversations you have with us by WhatsApp, phone, or email.
• Basic technical data needed for the site to work and stay secure.

We use your identity document only to identify you, prevent impersonation, and issue the report in your name. We store it with restricted access and do not include it in internal emails. We never ask for your Social Security number.

We never ask for passwords, verification codes, seed phrases, private keys, remote access, or full account or card numbers. Please do not include them in any message.

How we use it

• To respond to your inquiry and assess whether your case can be analyzed.
• To prepare and deliver the services you hire us for, such as the Viability Report.
• To communicate with you about your case through the channel you chose.
• To comply with legal obligations and protect the security of the site.

We do not sell your information or use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

Only when necessary and with appropriate safeguards:

• Providers that supply us with technical services (web hosting, email, messaging), which may use your data only to provide that service to us.
• Licensed attorneys, only if you authorize it in writing, to evaluate or pursue legal action.
• Authorities, when the law requires us to do so.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as it is needed to handle your inquiry or provide the service you hired us for and, after that, only for as long as our legal obligations or the defense of claims require. If you do not hire any service, you can ask us at any time to delete your inquiry.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, its correction, its deletion, or a copy, and you can withdraw your consent to be contacted. Write to us at contacto@indagaforensics.com. If you live in a state with its own privacy laws, such as California, you may also exercise the rights those laws give you. We will respond within the legal time limits.

Security

We use an encrypted connection, limit access to inquiries to the assigned team, and do not accept files through the form. No system is foolproof, so we ask that you share only the information that is necessary.

Cookies, local storage, and analytics

This site uses the technical cookies it needs to work and stores in your browser (local storage) how you arrived at the site, so it can be linked to your case review if you decide to submit it. While you fill out the form, it also saves a draft of your answers on your device, without your document number, so you don’t lose them if you close the page; the draft is deleted when you submit the case review, when you click “Start over,” or after seven days. You can clear all of this in your browser settings. If we add third-party measurement or advertising tools, we will say so here and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.

Minors

Our services are intended for people over 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with its updated date.
